Court sentences pastor to 15 years for raping eight followers

A South Korean Pastor was condemned to 15 years in jail on Thursday for assaulting eight supporters more than 40 unique events at his super church in Seoul, Yonhap news office detailed.

Lee Jae Rock of the Manmin Central Church, which has around 130,000 devotees, was persuaded by the Seoul Central District Court of utilizing his position to submit the assaults, the organization announced.

The 75-year-old frequently exploited his devotees' trust in him as a man near God Yonhap cited the court as saying.
